If there is a cuter picture out there, I'd really like to see it!!

Here are the stats we received today at Hutch and Anniston's 15 month check-up! Hutch Henry weight: 24lbs, 10oz (55%) height: 31.75 inches (70%) head circ: 50cm (off the charts by about 10%) Hutch had a great report! His head is still larger than normal due to the benign macrocephalia but other than that he is one big healthy boy!! Development is right on track :) Anniston Copeland weight: 19lbs, 9oz (7%) height: 30.75 inches (60%) head circ: 46.5cm (75%) Anniston had a great report as well! She still has fluid on the left ear but no infection! Yea!!!! Either the Rocephin and/or the chiropractor adjustment did the trick this time. And development is on or above where it should be. This girl may have been born at 3 1/2lbs but you sure wouldn't know it now!

We enjoyed a beautiful day at the park today with our friends, Natalie and Kennedy, and their mom, Joanna. We went for a walk and then let the babies swing. That's about all we could do considering there were only 2 of us and 4 of them! But we had a great time!

I'm officially a mom now that I have a season pass to the zoo. I even put the sticker on my SUV!! We only live about 10 minutes from the zoo so when it is nice out we try to go once a week. I can bring someone with me for free with my pass so I've been able to take Gigi, Aunt Kimmy, Uncle Mikey, and my good friend, Joanna, and her twins for no charge! It is nice to just push the babies around in their stroller or wagon. Sometimes they get out to see the animals. If I have help we can go to the petting zoo part or the playground. It's been a great investment and I'm excited to have more fun days at the zoo this spring/summer. We went this past Friday with Uncle Mikey, Aunt Kimmy, and Dave. Around the time of my wedding in October 2006 my dad signed up to be a big brother in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. I got married on a Saturday and the very next day Michael came to church with my parents for the first time. Some thought I'd been replaced! He is now 11 years old and very much a part of our family. He is in the 6th grade at David Lipscomb and is on the middle school football team. He goes to church with my parents and spends a lot of time at their house and at ours. Hutch & Anniston LOVE him! Anniston was a little suspicious at first, but now she loves her Uncle Mikey. He was on spring break last week so he stayed with us for a few days. He is a great helper. He even changed his first diaper! He wanted to begin with a dirty one but as soon as he saw what he was up against he changed his mind. Well, it was time. Hutch's hair was in his eyes and pretty shaggy all around. He needed a "big boy" haircut. So I took him to Nona's shop, and she gave him an adorable new 'do! This was his 3rd hair cut, but before she had just cut it around the ears and the bangs just a tad. This was a for real haircut!! BEFORE DURING AFTER What a BIG boy!! Anniston came along too and paraded herself around the beauty shop. She has not gotten her hair cut yet. Yes, she has a major mullet, but her hair is still thin, and I just can't bear to cut it until she gets some more. Now that Hutch has his big boy hair cut he has decided that he is too big to take morning naps!! I'm hoping it's a phase and that we will get back to our 9am and 2pm 1-2 hour naps real soon!!

Every time someone I know has a baby I just sit back and think about what a MIRACLE life truly is. (My best friend's sister recently gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl!) I've heard people say that miracles aren't things that happen every day, but I have to disagree. According to one of the songs on Hutch & Anniston's Veggie Tales cds, a miracle is "something only God can do." It is just so amazing that a baby can form inside of a woman's body in a matter of 9 months (or less!) and start out microscopic and come out so beautiful and full of life in such a short amount of time. Pregnancy was not fun for me. I worried, obsessed, stressed, and contracted the entire time. I was scared, bored, tired, and sore. But it sure was miraculous, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I was amazed every time I saw the ultrasound screen, which was a lot (19 times)!! I read countless books about development at each gestational age of pregnancy and saw tha...

In case anyone is wondering, I'll update you on the health of these little rascals. Anniston's ears are improving!!!! She finished her 3rd Rocephin injection on a Thursday and I took her in the next Tuesday to find out if it had worked, and so far it has! Her right ear has no infection or fluid and the left has clear fluid but no infection. The doctor said that it could take up to 28 days for the fluid to completely clear. We go in next Monday for 15 month well check ups, so we will see if the fluid is gone by then. I hope so! Both babies are getting their molars - owww!! Anniston has 2 upper ones (10 total) and Hutch has 1 upper one (9 total). And as far as weight, Hutch is now 25lbs!!!! And Anniston is 19! She is about 5th % in weight and he is about 50th. Our bedtime ritual consists of getting on a night time diaper and pajamas, taking our Zyrtec, getting teeth brushed and flossed, getting a paci, and reading a story. Uncle Mikey captured some of this on camera when he stayed with us for a few nights.

Lately, Anniston has really been a Gigi's girl. Gigi is very concerned that this will be a lasting attachment and is trying to find a solution :) I caught some of her concern on camera. If she is holding Anniston and anyone else tries to take her, she turns towards Gigi and holds on tight. She even does it to me!!! I keep telling her she wouldn't be here if it weren't for me, but Gigi tells her that I wouldn't be here if it weren't for her, so she continues to be a Gigi's girl. She won't even sit in her high chair at a restaurant if Gigi is around. This makes it hard for Gigi to eat, but I'm beginning to think she doesn't mind. See what you think.... She won't even let Gigi get out of her sight to do a little laundry!!
