Catching Up

Image
I guess it is about time I make a new post for any of you who regularly check here. Things have been busy, although I don't really know why because we haven't been anywhere or done anything really. So what is new? Hmmm.... Hutch is trying SO hard to talk, we just don't always know what he is saying. He has added a few new words to his vocabulary including "os" (socks), "oose" (shoes), "baba" (blankie), yep, and cup. He has also become quite the climber. His favorite thing to do is climb up on the couch and try to dive off one of the sides of it. NOT GOOD when you have hardwood! Luckily he has not been successful in his diving attempts...yet. When I see him try to climb onto the couch I tell him NO. He chuckles, gives me the cutest grin you've ever seen, and then continues. When we are in public he wants to run wild without holding anyone's hand. And if you try to hold him or his hand he throws a FIT. I am at my wit's end on discip...

Hutch #1 & #2

Hutch was named after Brandon's grandfather, Elbert Hutchison, who some in the family have always called "Hutch". He is such a sweet and wonderful man, and I am proud to say that my son is named after him. Naming our son Hutch was also a tribute to Brandon's mom, as all 4 of our parents have a name from their side of the family within our children's names in honor of them. I am so glad we used family names for our children. I think it will be really special for the babies when they get older as well as for the people they were named after. The only name that is not a family name is Anniston. And that is very fitting, as she is very independent!! Hutch - Brandon's mom Henry - my dad Copeland - my mom Weaver - Brandon's dad I had a patient whose name was Hutch and as soon as I heard it I called Brandon and told him I knew what we would name our firstborn son. He agreed. I'd never thought about it as a first name but when I heard it I just KNEW I w...

Security

I've decided to make my blog private for security reasons. As of now ANYONE in the world can view it and that scares me since I put some pretty personal details on here. So, if you read my blog, please make a comment here, email me or send me a message on facebook and let me know that you view this site. I will then send you the password and let you know the date it will no longer be public. Don't worry, you won't have to sign in every time, just the first time. After that it will automatically let you view my blog....you just have to log in and put in the password the first time, as long as you use the same computer every time. Hope that makes sense!

Mother's Day

Image
I've officially been a Mommy for the past 3 years....take a look! Didn't know I was pregnant but I was! Mother's Day 2008. Well, the day before Mother's Day but this is the closet picture I had. This was at Uncle Brent's WKU graduation. Mother's Day 2009 Mother's Day 2010, well a few days after it, but close enough! I traded restful days for sleepless nights, straightened hair for ponytails, stylish jeans that fit just right to kinda hanging out the sides! I haven't slept past 6am without first hearing cries for milk. I'd rather have some happy kids than put some make-up on my lids. My nights are spent preparing meals and nothing's bought without a deal. I try so very hard you see, to help these ones be all they can be. If when they're grown they know they're loved, I then will know my job's been done. They bring me joy, they bring me tears. They bring me love, they bring me fears. But I've learned what I thought I never ...
