In FOUR short months, my babies will be 2!!!! I just can't even believe it!! UNREAL!!!!!

As you can tell by these pics, my babies are really not babies anymore. But to me, they always will be. When will I stop calling them babies? I don't know. I don't like saying "kids" because that makes me think of goats, and children sounds too sophisticated at times......oh well, I'll just keep calling them babies!

On my mom's side of the family we have an annual Copeland family reunion. There were originally 8 siblings in the Copeland family and at the reunions, the family members of each of the siblings wears a different color. Ours is purple. So my sister and I always called it the "purple shirt reunion" because everyone we knew there wore a purple shirt. I've outgrown mine and haven't made a new one, but I wanted Hutch and Anniston to have their own so I made them one last night and they wore it proudly today and looked SO cute!! Eating mashed potatoes with Gigi Anniston's middle name is Copeland, which is the maiden name of my maternal grandmother's mother, one of the original 8. Michael believes that he has been left out of too many posts. So this post is just about Michael. He is sitting here telling me what to write, so it may not all be true. He is just beginning the 7th grade at David Lipscomb. He loves his ipod and his neice and nephew. He went to Kamp Kennessee this summer and had a great time. He was baptized last year. He likes to take long walks on the beach...except the one time he's been to the beach he was too scared of sharks to even go near it.

Yes, I know I have been a slacker on the blog. I have two excuses - don't worry, they are really good ones: #1. Hutch Henry and #2. Anniston Copeland. Anyways, we have had a pretty busy last 6 weeks or so since I really updated last. We went to my mom's parent's house for the 4th of July for our annual get-together there. It was Hutch and Anniston's first time to go and they had a great time, especially after they saw a cat. They kept going up to it and doing their sign for cat :) Hutch had a good time on the tractor with Gigi too! We also took them to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time with my cousin, Laura, and her family. They had fun, except for the carousel. They ride the one at the mall every time we are there and it is fairly decent. The one at CEC is small and slow. The entire time they were riding on it, Hutch was doing his sign for all done, as if to say, "this is it?" Hilarious!
